Michael Stuart

Michael Stuart is an IT Manager at the UC San Diego Library with over 14 years of service. His background in computer science, remote sensing and research support have provided a unique perspective on how IT enables research, faculty and student success. In his current role he utilizes system administration, engineering and project management skill sets to design and deliver innovative infrastructure and support services. He is passionate about IT Service Management, Geo-spatial Data Infrastructures, exploring Digital Scholarship Services, and supporting minority advocacy groups in IT. In his spare time you will likely find time him tinkering with new tech, testing new recipes, and exploring Maui.
