Bruce Horn is the Classrooms Operations Manager at UC Santa Cruz.
He is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the media systems in the 86 general assignment classrooms, distance education, test scoring and other instructional technology support. This includes long-range planning of classroom media and input on media system design, classroom computing support, faculty training and management of classroom media to ensure high reliability, ease of use and support of the most media functions faculty request most.
He also works with the rest of the Learning Technologies department at UCSC to provide presentation and media production support for campus events and portable media equipment for faculty, student and staff use.
He has worked in UCSC Learning Technologies since 1994, is a UCSC (Kresge College) alum, class of 1983 and a past UCSC UCCSC (UCTech) Ambassador.
