Kay Burke

I am the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at UCSF Health. A nurse for close to twenty years, I have navigated a progressive path in nursing leadership, informatics, analytics, and solutions delivery in healthcare settings. Having led informatics teams at multiple Magnet-accredited organizations, I place primary focus on nursing quality, practice, and administration. In January 2018, I moved to the Bay Area from Charleston, SC, where I served as CNIO and Chief Analytics Officer at MUSC Health. I have led a multitude of implementations, from enterprise-wide ‘big bangs’ to single-module installs, and currently have oversight of all nursing informatics activities across the health system.
