How do you effectively support a network of over 1,500 concurrent courses, whose online pages are collectively accessed over 2 million times each week? In supporting a customized, self-hosted learning management system, data and data visualizations are a foundational element of our decision-making. Take a look inside our tool kit and find out how we use different resources to help us monitor the pulse of our learning management system. Google Analytics, Splunk, Tableau, and other custom reporting and data visualization tools help us to support the campus learning management system by gathering real-time data and tracking historical trends in order to better allocate our resources, more-effectively track our development needs, and help instructors better understand the effects of their teaching.
