Director of IT Strategic Finance at UCLA Health. As such identify, create and lead strategic initiatives to deliver more while streamlining processes and generating savings. Also, support LSfV (Leveraging Scale for Value) efforts across the five UC Health IT organizations. Prior to working the finance side of IT, at different times led applications, operations, technology and services during my 22+ years at UCLA Health IT. In a prior life I worked on both the applications and infrastructure sides of ARCO Products and ARCO Transportation companies and before that served in the Air Force using computer technology to track and analyze satellites. BA in Math and Physics from NYU, MS in Operations Research also from NYU and MA in Business from the University of Northern Colorado. Along with my work at UCLA, I teach part time at the college level for the University of Phoenix, direct (as a volunteer) a Transition to Work training program for recovering addicts and pursue my hobby of genealogy. Married with four adult children and four grandchildren.
