Setting a workplace goal is easy but accomplishing that goal can be incredibly hard. Personal blockers such as negative talk, fear, procrastination and perfectionism can sink one's efforts before they start. Conversely, a focused effort, support, and sponsors can help one achieve even the most lofty of ambitions.

In this interactive session, attendees will learn practical tips and frameworks they can immediately apply to reboot and refocus their career goals, regardless if they are formulating new goals or refining existing goals. We’ll discuss how to set short and long-term actionable objectives and facilitate engagement conversations to proactively create, guide, and drive career opportunities. We’ll also discuss how to approach goals that don’t align with a department’s strategic vision. This session will explore these topics through the unique lens of employee and supervisor perspectives.
